We Welcome You to Colchester Federated Church!

Welcome to CFC! Whether you are attending a Sunday worship service or a community event held at our church, you will be embraced by our church family. Here at CFC you will find a vibrant community spanning the generations.

We strive to live out Jesus’ call to love God and our neighbors as ourselves.

We are disciples, welcoming new perspectives as we pursue our faith journeys together.

You, yes you, are welcome here!

Your First Visit

We invite you to join us Sunday morning and experience CFC's extravagant welcome.

  • Time: Worship Services are offered at 9 AM on Sundays. We suggest you arrive a little early to give you time to park and find a seat.
  • Duration: Approximately one hour, followed by Coffee Hour.
  • Service: A mixture of scripture, preaching, music, and prayer. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of the month.
  • Bulletin: Before entering the sanctuary, you'll receive a bulletin for that Sunday's order of worship, including announcements and the upcoming calendar.
  • Seating: Please sit where you are comfortable.
  • Children: Children are welcome to attend worship, or go to Sunday School after the Children’s Message.
  • Childcare: A quiet room for restless little ones and their parents is available in the Crib Room right off the Sanctuary. The service can be heard via a speaker inside the room.

We encourage you to come and see!

Pastor's Welcome

Welcome to Colchester Federated Church!

We are a welcoming congregation affiliated with both the American Baptist Churches and the United Church of Christ. We do our best to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world, putting our Christian faith into action. We are a multi-generational church and welcome individuals and families of all configurations into our church family. Here at CFC, we live out our Christianity side by side, discerning where God is leading us today. When we come to church, we bring our whole selves: the questions and yearnings of our hearts, our hopeful faith, and our desires for more meaning in our lives.

Worship on Sunday mornings is joyful, providing time to be in the presence of God and one anotherto hear the Good News and to be challenged to make our faith relevant. My hope is that while you worship with us at CFC you will learn something new, feel moved, and then go out into the world to do something about it.  No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!

Grace and Peace,

Reverend Lauren Ostrout
